David Flick is proud to announce that Terra Technologies' Wetland Ecologist Shane Staten became President of the Central Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists at the end of the chapter's annual meeting at the Columbia Bottoms Conservation Area after serving a year as Vice President. Mr. Staten will also sit on the Board of Directors for the national Society.
The Society of Wetland Scientists is the world's largest professional society of Wetland Scientists and represents those in the private, public, non-profit, and academic sectors. The Central Chapter of the Society encompasses Missouri and Kansas.
