Scientists with Terra Technologies Overland Park office announce the successful permitting of the Park Ridge Residential Development in Lee’s Summit Missouri. A Nationwide Corps of Engineers Section 404 Permit and a separate Missouri Department of Natural resources Section 401 Water Quality Certification was received on behalf of the engineer and developer. The development provides 150+ lots near the Woods Chapel exit in the Lake Jacomo area. The applicant successfully avoided and minimized impacts to historic Ozark glade formations through the entire project, preserving numerous acres through perpetuity with the placement of a conservation easement on selected areas of common ground. Horticulturalists with Terra Technologies also designed for additional stream plantings and wetland recreation to meet federal and state mitigation requirements. Construction of the project will begin in Spring 2006.
