Scientists with the Terra Technologies Overland Park office announce the successful environmental permitting of the Lakewood Business Park in Lee’s Summit Missouri. Adjacent to McComas Airport, the 60-acre industrial site will provide much needed industrial development space in Eastern Jackson County Missouri. In exchange for jurisdictional impacts to waters of the United States, the applicant will create 4.25 acres of wetland and 1.0 acres of riparian habitat at an off-site location within the same ecological drainage unit. Construction of the wetlands will begin in July 2006.
