Terra Technologies has successfully completed Clean Water Act permitting for the Raymore Galleria Commercial Development in Raymore, Cass County, Missouri. Craig Gump, Terrestrial Ecologist with the firm, served as project manager.
A total of 0.14 acres of jurisdictional palustrine emergent wetlands and 0.82 acres of jurisdictional open water exist on the parcel. As project impacts exceeded a total of 0.50 acres, an Individual 404/401 Permit was required. After a Public Notice was circulated, Terra Tech assisted the owner in responding to substantive Public Comments received and provided an alternatives analysis that documented measures for avoidance and minimization during project design. Terra Tech is further assisting the owner in satisfying mitigation requirements by obtaining bids for mitigation credits. The project is scheduled to begin construction in the summer of 2011.
