Terra Technologies' David Flick and Craig Gump will give a presentation at the 2009 Kansas Dam Safety Conference on February 11, 2009. The presentation titled Stream Mitigation in Kansas will be one of the talks given during the Concurrent Sessions of the annual conference. The conference is a three-day event held by the Kansas Department of Agriculture and is intended for dam owners, engineers, and municipal professionals interested in technical and practical information on operating and maintaining a dam. Terra Technologies’ presentation will give background information on the Clean Water Act Section 404 and 401 permitting requirements for dams, discuss impact debit and mitigation credit calculations from the Kansas Stream Mitigation Guidance (SMG), and provide an example of a stream mitigation plan.
