Terra Technologies announces that the Cedar Niles Residential Development has received its Individual 404 permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and its 401 Water Quality Certification from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Because of the extent of wetlands and streams on this property and because of the nature of this residential development, the increased amount of unavoidable impacts to waters of the U.S. necessitated an Individual Permit. Terra Technologies assisted with coordinating with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks regarding endangered species issues and was able to minimize any impacts to potential critical habitat through the incorporation of native grass plantings in detention basins.
