David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm has successfully completed a Jurisdictional Assessment of potential waters of the United States for the Boys Camp Road Improvements Project in Rockaway Beach, Missouri. Danny DeAngelo, an Environmental Scientist with the firm served as Project Manager.
In September 2011 Terra Technologies visited the site to locate, describe and determine the limits of any streams, wetlands or open water habitats found within the limits of the Boys Camp Road Improvements Project. The area assessed included a portion of a waste water treatment facility, a forested riparian corridor, upland hills, and bottom land adjacent to Lake Taneycomo. The jurisdictional assessment identified 1.06 acres of palustrine forested wetland and 486 lineal feet of an intermittent stream.
The project is located within the regulatory boundaries of the Little Rock District of the US Army Corps of Engineers. If the project results in wetland impacts below 0.50 acres, Nationwide Permit 14 (Linear Transportation) can be utilized to authorize the work. For more information about the delineation of wetlands for roadway projects, contact your local office of Terra Technologies. |
