By combining our engineers' knowledge of hydrology with the scientific disciplines of soils bioengineering, agrohistology, botany, and wildlife biology, Terra Technologies designs wetland systems for immediate integration into surrounding wildlife habitats and residential surroundings. In addition to planting a high diversity of ecologically appropriate native plants, our designs focus on the creation of wildlife habitat to provide a long-term influx of nearby wetland plants to the developing wetland.
Terra Technologies commonly designs and oversees construction of on-site and off-site wetlands as well as large-scale banks designed to mitigate for impacts to wetlands as a result of development activities.
